Tignes Ski Passes

Sitting high above the Tarentaise Valley, Tignes is one of France’s most reliable and high-altitude ski resorts, known for its long season, snow-sure conditions and modern lift system. With varied terrain spread across multiple sectors and easy connections throughout the resort, having the right ski pass is key to making the most of your time on the mountain.

The Tignes ski pass provides skiers with straightforward access to the lifts and slopes across the local ski area, allowing them to move freely between different parts of the resort and adapt plans to weather and snow conditions. Whether the plan is to clock up miles on wide pistes or mix up the days with higher-altitude skiing, a ski pass ensures smooth access and maximum flexibility during your stay. A ski pass is essential for using lifts, gondolas and mountain transport, and choosing the right one helps keep your ski days simple and well organised. Booking in advance also saves time once you arrive, meaning fewer queues and a quicker start to your holiday.

With Erna Low, you can purchase your Tignes ski pass as part of your ski holiday package, keeping everything in one place before you travel. This added convenience means less admin in resort and more time enjoying the slopes, making your Tignes ski holiday as smooth and stress-free as possible from day one.

Gifted with an abundance of over 300 kilometres of pistes and over 100 lifts connecting skiers across the resort, there is more than enough playroom to indulge oneself on a visit!

Types of Ski Pass in Tignes

There are two types of Tignes lift pass prices available at Tignes ski resort.

You can purchase a less expensive local area pass that grants access only to the Tignes Valley or you can opt for a full access Tignes-Val d'Isere ski pass which grants full access to the entire 300km across both resorts, including the Tignes-Val d’Isère ski area. Planning to visit for a week or more? We would recommend the full access pass for a truly rounded experience across both resorts.

FAQs

Where can I buy a Tignes ski pass?

When you purchase a ski pass, the duration of stay, area access and times are electronically added or credited onto a plastic smart card which you must carry on you in order to operate the gates and turnstiles to the lifts ( gondolas, chair lifts etc).

The lift pass is scanned at the turnstiles to open them. It is important that you keep the ski passes on you at all times on the ski slopes as you may not be able to access the slopes without them.
